plusone is a savings tracking app. The idea is simple — save one penny more than yesterday, every day for a year. Start with 1p on day one, and by day 365 you'll be saving £3.65 that day, with a total of £667.95 saved over the year.

No — and this is important. plusone is purely a tracker. You save your money into your own bank account, savings account, jar, or wherever you choose. We never have access to your money. We just help you track your progress and stay motivated.

No — that money is yours, saved in your own account. plusone tracks how much you've saved but the money stays with you throughout. At the end of the year you'll have saved £667.95 in your own account, not from us.

Yes, plusone is currently free to use during the beta period. We may introduce optional paid features in the future but the core tracking functionality will always be available.

Each day, open the app, enter the amount you saved and tap Save. The app will tell you how much to save each day. Once you've saved that amount into your own account, log it in the app to track your progress.

In forward mode you start small and build up — 1p on day one, growing to £3.65 on day 365. In reverse mode you start big and wind down — £3.65 on day one, down to 1p on day 365. Both result in the same total saved. Reverse mode can be useful if you want to get the larger amounts out of the way early.

No problem — life happens. Missed days show up in red on your progress grid. You can catch up on missed days using the catch up button, which will log all the missed amounts at once. Or you can simply carry on from today and not worry about it.

Yes! If you're going on holiday or need a break, you can suspend a save. While suspended, no days are counted as missed. When you resume, the app picks up from exactly where you left off.

Yes — you can run as many saves as you like simultaneously. One for a holiday, one for Christmas, one for a rainy day fund. Each save is tracked independently.

plusone is currently in beta and requires an invite code to sign up. You can request beta access on our homepage and we'll send you a code when a place is available.

You can request account deletion at any time by contacting us via our contact form. We'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

We collect your name, email address and the savings data you enter into the app. We don't collect payment information or location data. Full details are in our privacy policy.
